While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Rhetoric from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Lisa helped her peers around her by proofreading their college essays and personal projects. After she graduated in 2012, she expanded the scope of her experience to technical writing.

From February 2020 – 2023, Lisa worked as a Developmental Editor for the Creator Institute, a high-growth startup that helps first-time creators achieve their passion projects.

Since 2016, Lisa has worked full-time as a Technical Writer and Editor at Iron Bow Technologies. As of February 2024, she has finalized over 3,500 proposals for Iron Bow. Lisa’s 2018 Iron Bow Annual Review stated that she was “insanely responsive” to e-mail assignments, while on call 24/7.
